THE MEETING BETWEEN THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND the delegates of PROVIDENCE UNIVERSITY – TAIWAN.

In the morning of September 8th, 2017, Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT) had a meeting with the delegation of Providence University (Taiwan). The meeting was directed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Ngoc Pi - TNUT’s Vice Rector. Attending the meeting were Ngo Thuy Ha – Deputy Dean of Faculty of Industrial Economics, Nguyen Tuan Minh, PhD – Director of International Training Centre, Nguyen Tien Hung – Deputy Dean of Faculty of International Training and Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs. Representatives from Providence University were Prof. Tsai Hsueh Chang - Chief of the Secretariat, Prof. Chien I Hsin - Dean of College of Management, Prof. Wei Ching Chun - CEO of EMBA, Prof. Kao Chung - Vice Dean of International College and Lee Yung Lung, PhD – Professor Assistant of International College.

Founded in 1956, Providence University is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Taichung City. Providence University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

During the meeting, Thai Nguyen University of Technology and Providence University presented relevant information about the university history, organization and capacity in training and doing research. Both institutions agreed to enhance international collaboration between Thai Nguyen University of Technology and Providence University and discussed about the possibilities of faculty exchange, student exchange, research collaboration, teaching collaboration, curriculum or materials development. The meeting affirmed the great potential of promoting academic and education cooperation and exchange between the two institutions.
