Learning Objectives of Mechatronics Program
After completing the program, students have the following capabilities:
1. Technical arguments and problem solving
- Ability to observe and form ideas.

- Ability to build up theories, search and synthesize information; ability to design, conduct experiments, and

identify the core elements, capable of analyzing, and solution selection.

management in working arrangements.

graphics, models and multimedia materials; communication skills by writing, e-mail.
- Presentation skills: logic, concise, and easy to understand.

- Ability to communicate and use technical documents in English.
8. Knowledge to understand contemporary issues
- Understand the role and responsibilities of engineers to society; the impact of engineering on society and the
rules of society for engineering.
- Accessibility to knowledge of the law, social and cultural trends of the times.
- Understand the meaning and be able to update the current issues, the globalization affect to the overall
technical solution and technical design in particular.
9. Observing and forming ideas
- Observe and analyze practical application needs.
- Analyze and identify technical areas to integrate in products.
- Shaping designs in the form of modules and their functions.
- Shape the difficulties in designing, manufacturing, and production.
10. Design
- Ability to design mechatronic systems at structure level and design parts of module of systems. Expressed
through the capacity as: modeling and numerical calculation, simulation of mechatronics systems; analyze and
explain the problem in a scientific way; etc.
11. Deployment
- Ability to synchronously implement design tasks to specialized groups; ability to control the production of the
project to ensure time requirement, financial, and technical factors... to each step as in schedule.
- Ability to participate directly in the design process and implementation.
12. Operation
- Ability to design operation processes of systems; capability of organizing, participating in training, and
transfering the technical service after delivery.
