National Students’ Mathematical Olympic is organized once a year by Ministry of Education, Vietnam Assosiation of Science and Technology, Vietnam Student Assosiation and Vietnam Mathematics Association among universities in Vietnam. The purposes of this competition is to improve the quality of math teaching and learning, enhance students’studying movement as well as find out and cultivate students who are good at maths.
23rd National Students’ Mathematical Olympic took place in 2015 at Hue College of Economics – Hue University. This is the third time that Thai Nguyen University of Technology has taken part in. After along time well - trained by lecturers of devision of Math – Faculty of Fundamental Sciences, the team of TNUT including 5 students leaded by teacher Ngo Van Giang joined the competition. TNUT team won 2 second prizes and 1 consolation prize. This shows the management of students and lecturers at TNUT along with the enthusiastic encouragement of the university.
