In the morning of September 4th 2018, Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT) had a meeting with the delegation of College Santa Isabel of Laguna (CSIL) – The Philipines at the meeting room of Administrative Building. TNUT’s participants were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Ngọc Pi - TNUT’s Rector, Do Thi Tam, PhD – Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs and Nguyen Tuan Minh, PhD – Director of International Training.
Representatives from Daejin included Mr Serrano Edwin – President, Mrs. Javier Judy Isabel – Vice President together with other members of CSIL.
College Santa Isabel of Laguna is a private educational institution in Siniloan, Laguna founded in 2000. It offers a K-12 basic education program recognized by the Department of Education. Available Senior High School (SHS) strands include Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) which are under the Academic track.
During the meeting, TNUT and CSIL introduced the university history, organization and capacity in training and doing research. Both institutions agreed to enhance international collaboration between TNUT and CSIL by faculty exchange, student exchange, research collaboration and teaching collaboration. The meeting affirmed the great potential of promoting academic and education cooperation and exchange between the two institutions.
