In the morning of September 7th 2018, Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT) had a meeting with the delegation of Daejin University (DU) - Korea at the meeting room of Administrative Building. TNUT’s participants were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Minh - TNUT’s Rector, Do Thi Tam, PhD – Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs, Nguyen Tuan Minh, PhD – Director of International Training Centre and Mr Tran Tung – Vice Director of Thai Nguyen Department of Foreign Affairs.
Representatives from Daejin included Kwon Ho, PhD – Dean of Department of International Affairs and Education; Prof. Baek Kihyun – Consultant of Daejin University in Vietnam and Mr Yun Hyun Joon – Staff of Department of International Affairs.
The university was founded in 1992 by Daesun Jinrihoe and celebrates its 25th anniversary. It also produces good students based on its philosophy of coexistence. Today, universities are in the age of limitless competition in the face of rapidly changing high education and society.
During the meeting, TNUT and DU introduced the university history, organization and capacity in training and doing research. Both institutions agreed to enhance international collaboration between TNUT and DU by faculty exchange, student exchange, research collaboration and teaching collaboration. The meeting affirmed the great potential of promoting academic and education cooperation and exchange between the two institutions.
